Recently, CRPF has issued a notification for the exam of CRPF Constable. So, we are here writing the syllabus and exam pattern for exam and also for other exams related to this government jobs, so in this article we will discuss about the CBT, PET, and medical test for all trades. CRPF Constable Tradesman & Technical Jobs Exam Scheme syllabus and Pattern 2023
CBT (Computer Based Test) Syllabus for CRPF Constable Tradesman
The CBT will have one multiple choice or objective type of question. This paper has 100 marks for 100 questions. It means one question for one mark if you attempt correctly.

All questions will be multiple type choice question and CBT will be in Hindi and English Only. The question paper will be in Hindi and English language only.
If you attempt wrong answer, then 0.25 marks will be deducted from your correctly attempted marks. It means CBT has negative marking for incorrectly attempted questions.
The Date and Examination Centre of CBT will be informed by Admit card of CBT for CRPF constable technical and tradesman.
There is no such provision to reevaluation or rechecking.
Whatever marks you will get in CBT will be normalized. According to normalized marks merit list will be prepared for CBT exam.
The questions in the CBT will be in matriculation level.
To make CBT easy, CRPF provides mock test so that you can be familiar with the CBT. It will be available on CRPF website.
Candidates are not permitted to use calculator or other electronic gadgets.

The CRPF will analyses your ability to understand reasoning and intelligence. There can non-verbal type question to analyses your ability. This May include these topics-

General Knowledge and Genral Awareness
Questions in this section will be aimed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him.
Question will be on the basis of current events and observation and experience in their scientific attitude. The Test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Science, General Policy, Indian Constitution, Scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Elementary Mathematics
This section will include following topics –
- Number Systems,
- Computation of whole numbers,
- Decimals and Fractions and relationship between numbers,
- Fundamental arithmetical operations,
- Percentages,
- Ratio and Proportion,
- Averages,
- Interest,
- Profit and loss,
- Discount,
- Mensuration,

English / Hindi
Candidate must have the ability to understand the ability of Hindi & English, Basic comprehension would be tested.

Candidates will be selected through the Physical Standard Test (PST).

Chest for CRPF Tradesman and Technical jobs
Male candidates should have following standards of chest measurement:
- Un-expanded: 80 Cms
- Minimum expansion: 5 Cms

Chest measurement for the Female will not taken place for this post of CRPF constable tradesman and technical jobs.
Only CBT qualified candidates will be allow for next procedure of the Exam, Like PST, PET, And Detailed medical exam. All the document verification process will be conducted at the time of detailed medical exam.
Physical efficiency test For CRPF Tradesman and Technical Jobs
All the CBT qualified candidates must must clear PET (race) physical efficiency test under the following limits

If any any women during PET found pregnant then she will be temporarily unfit for this post.
She should be examined after the six weeks of the dates commencement subject to the medical fitness certificate.
Candidate who do not qualified for race will be eliminated from the selection process.
But candidates must remember that during preliminary checking of the documents, seeking for relaxation for height, chest will be given according to the rules and regulations.
Candidates must carry one photo carrying identity card like Aadhaar card, Driving License, Income tax Pan Card.
Weight For Tradesman and Technical jobs
There should be proportionate weight regarding height as per per medical standards.
The Candidates those who are declared not qualified in physical standard test i.e height and chest. May prefer to appeal on same day.
There is not appeal in PET race.
Trade Test for CRPF Constable
Candidates will be shortlisted form the pool of candidates who qualified in CBT, PST, and PET.
Tarde test will be conducted through the practically assessment and it will be in qualify nature. But every candidates must secure at least 20 marks to qualify out 50 marks.
If candidate is unable to get 20 marks, will be disqualified.
accordingly, every candidates have to pass the trade test also for particular trade post.
Here we will also discuss the trade test which applied for particular post –

After all of this there should be document verification.
Document Verification for CPRF constable tradesman and technical jobs
After all the candidates will be selected from the pool of PST/ PET CBT or trade test for the Document verification.
Further candidates are advised to carry out all the documents with them. Following Documents will be physically verified for the CRPF Constable tradesman and technical jobs.
Here we will talk about generally important document for this jobs are following –
- Firstly, Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate to prove age, name and educational qualification.
- Secondly, Domicile Certificate/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority.
- Thirdly, Certificate from serving defence personnel in the format prescribed in Annexure-II of the Notice.
- Fourthly, Undertaking in the format prescribed in Annexure-III from Ex-servicemen candidates.
- Fifthly, Caste Certificate (as applicable) in the format prescribed at Annexure-IV, Annexure-V and Annexure-VII of the Notice from the candidates seeking reservation/age relaxation.
- Sixthly, Certificate from candidates who wish to avail relaxation in height/chest measurement as prescribed in Annexure-VI of the Notice.
- Seventhly, Certificate from District Collector/District Magistrate in respect of dependent applicants of riot victims as mentioned in category serial No. 04/05/06 under para 6.3 of the Notice.
- Driving license of candidates who have applied for the post of CT/Driver.
- Lastly, ITI Certificate/experience certificate of candidates who have applied for the post of CT/MMV (Fitter).
However you have to carry all the required document with you at the time of document verification.
Further, you should go detailed medical examination so that you have to fit with medically. Although, you can rereview your medical exam after getting unfit. Finally regarding this you have to read the notification of CRPF constable tradesman and technical. But before reaching this stage you should consider this.
Eye Examination for CRPF Constable tradesman and technical jobs
finally, you have to go through eye examination test. So your eye sight should be correct according to the trade.

medical guidelines issued by Govt. of India from time to time:

Important instruction at the exam center for CRPF
Finally, here we will discuss about important things we can do in examination hall. Accordingly, you have to carry at least two color photograph passport size and further you have to carry one photo identity card, Some examples of photo identity cards is as following-

- Voter’s ID Card,
- Driving License,
- PAN Card,
- Passport,
- Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU/Private),
- Any other photo bearing ID Card issued by the Central/State Government.
Above all the documents you can carry one document for identity verification.
If date of birth is not printed on your identity card then candidate must carry another original document proving the correct date of birth.
Basically, if you apply with blurred photograph and sign, in addition to this your application will be rejected.
